Ozone generator, also known as ozone sterilizer, uses air or oxygen as raw materials to generate ozone through high-frequency and high-voltage discharge. Ozone has one more active oxygen atom than oxygen molecules. Ozone is chemically active and is a strong oxidant.

Ozone machine classification:
1、 From the perspective of sterilization targets, ozone generators can be divided into two types: air sterilization ozone generators and water treatment ozone generators.
a. The air sterilization ozone generator sterilizes the air, such as in workshops, changing rooms, etc. The specifications and models selected based on the size of the space are also different.
b. Ozone generators for water treatment are commonly used for sterilizing purified water and wastewater. The amount of ozone production varies depending on the tonnage of treated water.
2、 From the perspective of appearance, ozone generators can be divided into three types: wall mounted, trolley type, and cabinet type (with different ozone production rates for each model).
a. Wall mounted ozone sterilizer is suitable for air sterilization in small spaces, such as changing rooms, databases, warehouses, etc.
b. The small cart type ozone generator is a portable ozone generator that can be moved and is suitable for air sterilization in multiple rooms.
c. Cabinet style ozone generator can be equipped with pipelines, suitable for air sterilization in large spaces. The amount of ozone input can be determined on-site.

When purchasing an ozone generator, it is necessary to determine its purpose, whether it is for air sterilization or water sterilization. When used for air treatment, the total amount of ozone used (i.e. the output of the ozone generator) can be calculated by converting the size of the root space. The production capacity of air sterilization is generally added at 30mg/cubic meter. When used for water treatment, choose a high concentration ozone generator (ozone concentration greater than 12mg/L), as low concentration ozone treatment is ineffective. The high concentration ozone generator is equipped with a standard gas source, gas source treatment device, and ozone generation device. Small models that can be designed as integrated models have a production capacity of 5-200g/h, while large and medium-sized ozone generators are mostly in the form of units.
